Hi Chefs!

Welcome to the Chef Portal!

Thank you for donating your time and talent to the fourth annual Memphis Food & Wine Festival!

This “Chef Portal” is designed to make your lives more convenient, but if you have any trouble navigating the site or have some friendly suggestions on how we can make this more user-friendly, please contact Catie McLarty catie@resourceentertainment.com

Event Overview

The fourth annual Memphis Food & Wine Festival will be held on Saturday, October 15, 2022 at The Live Garden at Memphis Botanic Garden from 5pm - 10pm. The festival consists of over 30 chefs and 30 vintners setup in 10x10 spaces under long tents. Each chef will have (2) 6’ tables and (2) folding chairs within their space. Chefs need to specify equipment and supplies needed at their tent by taking a look at our equipment list we have sent out and is available in this chef portal.

We expect to have over 2,500 attendees and so we’re asking each chef to prepare roughly 800 sample-sized portions for guests to taste. Chefs should come up with 2 menu items they’d be willing to prepare and then Master Chef Jose chooses 1 item between the 2.

For out-of-town chefs, hotel rooms will be provided at no cost to the chef, and food/travel will be reimbursed up to $2,000 (food) and $500 (airfare) or $0.58/mile. Traveling chefs will be assigned a “host kitchen” - a Memphis restaurant already participating in the festival where the visiting chefs can ship their food/supplies and prep their food samples prior to the festival.

On Friday, October 14th there will be a welcome party for all chefs and sponsors at the Hyatt Centric.
